Join us as we explore 5 of the funniest scenes from this beloved show, guaranteed to make you laugh out loud and appreciate the humor that Schitt's Creek has to offer. From hilarious misunderstandings to awkward encounters, these moments perfectly encapsulate what makes the series so  special.

"Fold in the Cheese" – Cooking with Moira and David

In Season 2, Episode 2, Moira and David attempt to make dinner for the family as a team-building exercise. They decide to prepare a family recipe, enchiladas. However, neither of them has any cooking experience, and their lack of culinary knowledge creates a hilarious interaction that will leave you laughing for days.

Dialog:

Moira: "David, what does 'fold in the cheese' mean?"

David: "I don't know, you just...fold it in."

Moira: "I understand that, but how do you fold it? Do you fold it in half like a piece of paper and drop it in the pot or what do you do?"

David: "I cannot show you everything."

Moira: "Well, can you show me one thing?"

David: "You just...you just...it says fold in the cheese, then I don't know what to tell you."

Moira: "Well then, I don't know how to cook a fancy dinner for the whole family with no help!""

"A Little Bit Alexis" – Alexis' Audition

In Season 5, Episode 8, Alexis auditions for Moira's community theater production of "Cabaret." To showcase her talent, she performs the theme song from her short-lived reality TV show, "A Little Bit Alexis." The scene is hilariously cringeworthy as Alexis dances and sings to her catchy but vapid song.

Dialog:

Alexis: "The song I've chosen to sing is a little unconventional, but it's one that's very close to my heart."

Moira: "Oh, do tell."

Alexis: "It's the theme song from my critically-reviewed, limited-reality series, 'A Little Bit Alexis.'"

Moira: "Oh, I see."

Alexis: (singing) "I'm a Lamborghini, I'm a Hollywood star, I'm a little bit tipsy when I drive my car. I'm expensive sushi, I'm a cute huge yacht, I'm a little bit single even when I'm not."

Moira: (whispering to Jocelyn) "Is it too late to pull the fire alarm?"

"Wine and Cheese" – David and Stevie's Wine Tasting

In Season 1, Episode 8, David and Stevie decide to spend the day at a local winery for a wine tasting event. Their awkward attempts to be classy while tasting various wines are a hilarious contrast to their usual sarcastic personalities. The scene is made even funnier when David accidentally spills wine all over his white pants.

Dialog:

David: "Oh, I like this one. It's very crisp."

Stevie: "I didn't realize there was a right and wrong way to taste wine."

David: "Well, there's a right way and then there's your way."

Stevie: "I think you're just jealous because I have a more refined palate."

David: (accidentally spills wine on his pants) "Oh my God, are you kidding me?"

Stevie: "Well, that's one way to mark your territory."

The Olive Branch" – Moira's Apology to Jocelyn

In Season 4, Episode 6, Moira tries to apologize to Jocelyn for a previous argument. She brings an assortment of wigs as an olive branch, but her dramatic monologue and insistence on trying each wig on Jocelyn only add to the absurdity of the scene. The exchange between the two is filled with humor, misunderstandings, and a collection of bizarre wigs.

Dialog:

Moira: "I've come to offer you an olive branch. It's just that in this particular case, the olive branch is a bevy of my finest wigs."

Jocelyn: "I'm not sure I understand."

Moira: "I want you to have them, Jocelyn. Consider it an apology, a mea culpa for the undue stress I may have unwittingly caused."

Jocelyn: "Moira, I appreciate the gesture, but I don't think I need your wigs."

Moira: "Nonsense! I insist you at least try them on."

Jocelyn: (trying on a wig) "Okay, but just this one."

Moira: "Oh, it's like seeing my own reflection."

"Simply the Best" – David's Serenade

In Season 4, Episode 6, Patrick serenades David with an acoustic rendition of Tina Turner's "Simply the Best" at an open mic night. David's initial embarrassment turns to genuine emotion as he realizes the depth of Patrick's feelings for him. The scene is both heartwarming and funny, as the other characters react to the performance in their own unique ways.

Dialog:

Patrick: (singing) "You're simply the best, better than all the rest, better than anyone, anyone I've ever met."

David: (whispering to Stevie) "I can't tell if I'm more embarrassed for myself or for him."

Stevie: "Just give it a second, David."

Moira: (to Johnny) "Are you hearing this, John? It's like honey being poured into my ears."

Johnny: "I think it's sweet."

David: (tearing up) "Okay, maybe it's not that bad."

These five scenes from Schitt's Creek showcase the show's brilliant combination of humor, wit, and heart. The characters' unique personalities and their interactions make for countless unforgettable moments that will keep you laughing long after the show has ended.
