One Queen's Fabulously Bright Outfit Challenge

What's up homos, it's ya gurl Sassy Sam back with another wild social experiment! I bet you flags think every day is Pride when you've got a fabulous gay like moi around. Well strap in Marys, cuz I'm putting that idea to the test! 👠

For one entire week, I committed to dressing in HEAD TO TOE rainbow realness every damn day. I'm talking rainbow shirts, pants, hats, socks, undies - you name it, I Pride-ified it, okurrr?!! Purrrr! 😜🦄

Now you might be thinking: Sam, isn't that a bit EXTRA? And I say: really queen?! This is me we're talking about! I have no internalzed homophobia! I LIVE for extra! If I can spark just one laugh from my rainbow ridiculousness, it's worth it. 🌈

So how did my week of Taste the Gaybow style go down? Lemme break it down...

Day 1 - Monday: 

I started off strong with a rainbow sweater, matching sneakers, and pants I DIY bedazzled with rainbow sequins baby! Was I smiley Riley all day? You betcha! Strutting down the street, I definitely got some head turns and laughs. My coworkers gagggged over my lewk. A few even joined for a quick Pride photoshoot! 📸 One Karen gave me the nastiest side-eye on the train though. Everybody say Relax! 🙅‍♀️

Day 2 - Tuesday:

This was Casual Pride Day, hunties! I rocked a rainbow tee with jeans, plus rainbow socks and sunnies just to keep it cute. Ran errands and grabbed an iced coffee (yes, the barista included a rainbow stirrer without even asking - my influence, divas!). A couple older ladies in line clutching pearls cracked up. My bank teller Loled: "Someone's ready for June!" 👀🤷‍♂️ Why YES Sean, every month is Pride for this queen! 

Day 3 - Wednesday:

I was feeling saucy today so I dared to do a FULL rainbow suit plus gold shoes and accessories! Let's just say I was a Pride Peacock prancing around town! Hit a networking event and schmoozed in style. Said my outfit was for charity. 😇 Got a ton of compliments! Told all the corporate suits to add more color to their wardrobes. 💅

Day 4 - Thursday: 

Tonight was date night with my BF Pablo! I toned it down slightly with just a rainbow button-up, black jeans and rainbow earrings so I didn't overwhelm my man lol. Pablo was a good sport but admitted it was a bit much for a dinner date. Sad but fair. 😔 I made it up to him later with some spicy rainbow undies! 🌶️

Day 5 - Friday:

Thank GOD it's Friday, right ladies?! I was running low on rainbow pieces so I just wore a pink tee and accessorized with my rainbow fanny pack, hat, socks and sneakers. Felt vaguely clownish but owned it on my commute, cuz your joy comes first dolls! At work, my boss just shook his head and smiled. Go awf, chief! 🤪

Day 6 - Saturday: 

Woke up feeling like I needed a break today. Threw on a comfy black hoodie and called it a Pride Rest Day. Sometimes we all need to recharge before putting on another show, mawma! I'll be ready to bring the rainbow fierceness tomorrow! 💪

Day 7 - Sunday: 

It's the Grande Finale hennies! I went ALL OUT glam today! I wore a full rainbow sequin gown, rainbow faux fur coat, tall rainbow wig and 6 INCH rainbow heels to brunch darling! Let's just say I was the belle of the ball OKURRR!?! 👑 Hell I was the whole damn Pride Parade! People wanted selfies with the Pride Queen! It was such a freaking MOOD all day! 🔥

And there you have it divas! My week gave everyone a little Pride joy while proving gay guys don't have to conform to blah style rules! I'll be riding this flamboyant high for days! 'Til next time ladies, ciao! 👋💋
